1 min read

AUBURN — Auburn Police Detectives, working closely with the Massachusetts State Police, arrested 23-year-old Logan Goldovitz on charges of possession and distribution of child pornography following a detailed investigation and search warrant execution at his residence on Monday.

The investigation, which had been ongoing for some time, led detectives to obtain a search warrant for Goldovitz’s residence.

With the assistance of the Massachusetts State Police Troopers from the Internet Crime Against Children Task Force (ICAC) and Cyber Crime Unit, the warrant was executed on Sept. 9 during the afternoon.

During the search, a Police K9 trained to detect digital storage devices contributed to the discovery of evidence.

The on-site digital examination by the Massachusetts State Police played a crucial role in the arrest.

Goldovitz was held at the Auburn Police Department on $5,000 bail overnight before his arraignment at the Worcester District Court.

He was released on his own recognizance with certain conditions.

Detectives have indicated that they do not believe any of the children in the recovered images are from the local community.
