PUTNAM — The Putnam Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a man accused of vandalizing a Thompson school bus early Friday morning.
At approximately 6:40 a.m. on Sept. 6, an unknown male suspect allegedly struck a school bus on Church St. near Battey St. According to authorities, the man punched one of the bus’s headlights and then hit the bus door, causing damage.
The suspect is described as a white male with a beard, aged between 25 and 35, standing roughly 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 4 inches tall.
The Putnam Police Department has released photos of the suspect and is urging anyone with information about the man’s identity to come forward.
