Lowell, MA police arrest 10 in South Common operation

LOWELL — Members of the Lowell Police Department’s Special Investigation Section and Warrant Unit conducted an operation in the South Common area on Sept. 3, resulting in the arrest of 10 individuals.

During the operation, police apprehended eight adults with outstanding warrants.

Additionally, one adult faced charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, while another was charged as a Fugitive from Justice.

The Lowell Police Department has not released the names of those arrested or the specific nature of the outstanding warrants.

This operation is part of ongoing efforts by the LPD to address crime in the South Common area.
