WORCESTER — Worcester Police Department detectives arrested a man for carrying a large capacity firearm with a suspended license on Sept. 9 at around 6 p.m.
Angel Santana-Santiago, 23, was pulled over by detectives from the Crime Gun Intelligence Unit after they confirmed an active warrant for his arrest from a neighboring town.
During the vehicle stop, a firearm was recovered from Santana-Santiago’s waistband.
Further investigation revealed that his license to carry had been suspended.
The Crime Scene Unit processed the recovered firearm.
Santana-Santiago now faces multiple charges including carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, and possession of a large capacity firearm, in addition to the warrant for his arrest.
