WARDSBORO — A Massachusetts man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash on VT RT 100, authorities said.
Vermont State Police responded to a report of the crash early Tuesday at 1:06 a.m. Upon arrival, troopers encountered Edgar Vazquez, 34, of North Adams, Massachusetts, the operator of the vehicle involved.
During the interaction with Vazquez, troopers observed signs of impairment.
Vazquez was arrested for DUI and taken to the Vermont State Police Westminster Barracks for processing.
After being processed, Vazquez was released with a citation.
He is scheduled to appear at the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division on Oct. 1 at 8:30 a.m.
