York County Sheriff’s Office seeks public help in locating wanted man

1 min read

ALFRED — The York County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in tracking down a fugitive, Troy Blackburn, who has been charged with multiple felonies.

According to officials, Blackburn has repeatedly put other drivers at risk by fleeing from deputies on his distinctive yellow Yamaha motorcycle.

The bike, identified as a Yamaha FZ-09 model, is unregistered and lacks mirrors, which may make it more recognizable to the public.

Blackburn is described as a 5-foot-6-inch tall, 190-pound Caucasian male with reddish-brown hair.

His transient lifestyle has made it difficult for authorities to pinpoint his location, as he is known to stay at various places without a permanent address.

The Sheriff’s Office has released photos of Blackburn and his motorcycle, urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.

They emphasize that any tips provided will be kept confidential.

Law enforcement officials also appeal to those who might know Blackburn to encourage him to safely turn himself in.

They warn that continuing to evade police not only increases the risk to his safety but also endangers the lives of others on the road.
