WESTMINSTER — A Westminster man was arrested following a motorcycle crash that led to multiple charges, including driving with a criminally suspended license, according to the Windham County Sheriff’s Office.

Joshua Snide, 39, of Chester, lost control of his motorcycle while traveling eastbound on Patch Rd. near the intersection of Morse Brook Rd. on Sept. 5, around 9:15 p.m. The motorcycle veered off the road and struck a utility pole.

Golden Cross Ambulance and Westminster Fire/Rescue responded to the scene.

Detective Sergeant Mario Checchi discovered upon investigation that Snide was operating the motorcycle with a suspended license, had violated the conditions of his release, and had an outstanding arrest warrant.

Snide was treated for injuries at Springfield Hospital and was later lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility.

He received a criminal citation to appear in court on Oct. 29 at 8 a.m. The Bellows Falls Police Department also assisted with the investigation.

The court has ordered Snide to serve the remainder of his prior sentence.
