Waterbury task force arrests man for illegal ATV operation

WATERBURY — The Waterbury Police Department’s Auto Theft Task Force apprehended a man for the unlawful operation of an all-terrain vehicle on Sept. 3.

Christian Hernandez, 34, was arrested after he was found illegally operating an ATV on Cooke St. Hernandez faces charges of illegal ATV operation among other motor vehicle-related offenses.

The Waterbury Police Department continues its efforts to address the illegal use of ATVs, dirt bikes, and other vehicles not permitted for city streets.

Officials emphasize their dedication to this issue and encourage the public to report any illegal ATV activity.
