BROOKFIELD — Vermont State Police arrested a Brookfield man Wednesday on charges of violating a court-issued anti-stalking order.

Adam P. Haggett, 44, was taken into custody without incident after troopers responded to a complaint on April 9 at 10:49 a.m. An investigation by the VSP Royalton Barracks led to the conclusion that Haggett had contravened the terms set by the court.

Following his arrest, Haggett was processed and subsequently released with a citation to appear at the Orange County Criminal Division Court to respond to the charge.

The date and time of his court appearance have been scheduled as per the citation.
