JOHNSTON — Johnston Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a theft at Ocean State Job Lot on Atwood Avenue.
On Aug. 2, an individual entered the store and made their way to the employee office area where lockers are located.
The suspect is accused of stealing $400 in cash and a debit card from an unsecured locker.
The stolen debit card was later used at Cumberland Farms and Walmart in Warwick.
Nearly a month later, on Aug. 29, the same individual reportedly attempted to access the office and locker room area again but was thwarted by a locked door.
The police have released images of the suspect and the vehicle believed to be involved, seeking help from the community to identify the individual.
