PITTSFORD — A Brandon man faces charges of driving under the influence after a single-vehicle crash Sunday night on U.S. Route 7, state police said.
Sean Devoid, 43, was arrested after troopers responded to the crash scene in Pittsford at about 11:14 p.m., according to a statement from the Vermont State Police.
Troopers observed signs of impairment while interacting with Devoid at the scene, police said.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Rutland barracks for processing.
Devoid was issued a criminal citation for driving under the influence, third offense, and criminal refusal.
He is scheduled to appear in Rutland Superior Court on Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. to answer to the charges.
The incident remains under investigation.
