SULLIVAN — A 19-year-old driver suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Route 9 early Monday morning.

Ayslin Claudio of Chichester was traveling westbound in a 2023 Toyota Tacoma at 4:27 a.m. when she failed to negotiate a curve near Valley Road, New Hampshire State Police said.

The vehicle left the road, struck a large boulder and rolled multiple times.

Fire and EMS personnel extracted Claudio from the wreckage.

She was airlifted to Concord Hospital with serious injuries.

Route 9 was closed for several hours during the investigation.

Authorities said speeding and reckless driving appear to be primary factors in the crash.

State Troopers from the Troop C barracks responded to the scene, assisted by Sullivan Fire & Rescue and the Keene Fire Department.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Trooper Troy Couillard at [email protected] or (603) 358-3333.
