ANSONIA — Police are searching for four suspects following an armed robbery at a laundromat in Ansonia on Saturday evening.
The incident occurred at 7:12 p.m. Aug. 31 at the AC Washing Well on 133 North Main Street, according to the Ansonia Police Department.
An employee reported that four Hispanic males entered the business.
Shortly after, one suspect approached the employee, displayed a handgun and demanded money.
The armed suspect took cash from the register and another area of the business before all four fled in a white Honda Civic.
Police described the suspects as follows:
– A male, 19 to 20 years old, wearing black pants, hoodie, and sneakers with a black mask, armed with a handgun.
– Three males, approximately 16 years old, all wearing black pants, hoodies, and sneakers.
One wore white lettering on his hoodie, another had a white shirt and white hat.
