Fugitive arrested in Ryegate on drug charges

RYEGATE — Vermont State Police arrested a 42-year-old woman wanted in New Hampshire on drug charges during a pre-dawn raid Sunday.

The Vermont State Police Tactical Team executed a search warrant at a residence on Longmoore Drive in Ryegate at approximately 2 a.m. on Sept. 1.

Troopers located and arrested Crystal Reynolds, who was wanted on an extraditable warrant from New Hampshire.

Reynolds was wanted for possession of methamphetamine, a Class B felony, under New Hampshire’s Controlled Drug Act.

During the arrest, troopers found an unspecified illicit drug on Reynolds’ person, leading to an additional charge of drug possession.

Reynolds is being held without bail at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility.
