WEST GREENWICH — A traffic stop on Route 95 South resulted in the arrest of a Cranston man for possession of a controlled substance and a prohibited weapon, authorities said.
Ryan N. Usiak, 26, of 17 Harding Avenue, was taken into custody at 11:38 a.m. Sunday after troopers discovered less than 10 grams of Adderall, a Schedule I-V controlled substance, as well as a non-firearm weapon in his vehicle.
Following the stop, Usiak was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks for processing.
He was subsequently arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released on a summons to appear in Third Division District Court at a later date.
