DUMMERSTON — A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 91 Southbound led to an overturned camper trailer and the temporary closure of both lanes near mile marker 14/2 on Aug. 31.

At 11:53 a.m., Jonathan W. Baldwin, 38, of Newport, New Hampshire, struck the camper trailer hauled by Betsy E. Arena, 69, of Milford, Connecticut.

The impact caused Arena’s camper trailer to flip over, resulting in the blockage of the southbound lanes and a brief shutdown of this section of the interstate.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and no injuries were reported at the scene.

The damaged vehicles were subsequently removed and normal traffic flow was restored.

The Vermont State Police – Westminster Barracks are conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash.

Authorities are requesting any witnesses or individuals with information to reach out to Trooper Marie Beland at the Westminster Barracks or via email at [email protected].
