CHESTERFIELD — Acting Chief Rouse of the Chesterfield Police Department announced that on Friday, officers conducted a high-visibility speed enforcement patrol along Route 9, resulting in 21 citations for speeding.
From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Chesterfield officers stopped a total of 23 vehicles, with the majority of stops due to speeding violations.
This patrol is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to curtail dangerous driving behaviors, including speeding, reckless driving, and illegal passing.
The Chesterfield Police Department remains dedicated to ensuring the safety of motorists and will persist in its aggressive stance against traffic violations.
