Suspect arrested in Boston’s Amory Terrace homicide case

BOSTON — Officers from the Boston Police Department’s Fugitive Unit apprehended 33-year-old Jordan Albert-Scott of Mattapan on Friday in connection with a fatal stabbing earlier in the month.

Albert-Scott was taken into custody at around 2:20 p.m. near 182 Dudley Street.

He was sought on a murder warrant from Roxbury District Court for the death of 45-year-old Daniel Coke of Jamaica Plain.

The suspect is due to be arraigned at the Roxbury District Court.

The initial incident occurred on Sunday, August 4, when police were dispatched at approximately 4:42 a.m. to 10 Amory Terrace following a report of a person stabbed.

Upon arrival, officers found Coke suffering from a stab wound.

He was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.

The Homicide Unit of the Boston Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances of the stabbing.
