Castleton man arrested for DUI after Rutland crash

RUTLAND — A single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning led to the arrest of a Castleton man for suspected impaired driving.

Vermont State Police from the Rutland Barracks responded to a report of a crash at 2862 E Pittsford Rd. around 5:01 a.m.

Upon arrival, troopers found the vehicle and identified the driver as 39-year-old Bradley Martin.

According to officials, Martin showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody without incident.

He was transported to the State Police Barrack in Rutland Town for processing.

Martin has been cited to appear at Rutland Superior Court – Criminal Division on Sept. 16 at 12:30 p.m.

The Rutland Town Fire Department, Regional Ambulance Service, and Carrara’s Towing provided assistance at the scene.
