Boston police seek information on missing 14-year-old boy

BOSTON — Boston Police Department has issued a missing person alert for 14-year-old Hiram Perez-Lazu, last seen on Aug. 6 in the Dorchester neighborhood near Leonard Street.

Perez-Lazu, from Dorchester, is described as a white Hispanic male with a light complexion, medium build, brown hair, and brown eyes.

He was wearing a black backpack at the time of his disappearance and is known to frequent the South Bay area.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Hiram’s whereabouts to contact 911 or reach out to Area C-11 Detectives at 617-343-4335.

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to ensure Hiram’s safe return.
