Boston police seek help identifying prowler in Brighton

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives from District D-14 are asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual connected to a recent prowler incident in the Brighton neighborhood.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:23 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, near 17 Gerald Road.

The suspect is also linked to a prowler event that happened at around 9:17 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, near 14 Radnor Road, and a burglary that took place at about 1:40 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, on 32 Gerald Street.

Authorities describe the suspect as a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, thick gray gloves, light gray pants, and black and gray sneakers with white soles and a white logo on the sides.

The suspect was also noted to have a black fabric covering his entire face with no openings for eyes or mouth.

In other incidents, the individual was reported to be wearing a brown or red loose covering with eye slits.

The identities of individuals who offer tips in an anonymous fashion will be kept confidential by the Boston Police Department.
