Woman arrested on outstanding warrant in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD — A local woman was arrested Saturday on an outstanding Vermont warrant, according to police.

Pamela L. Runnells was taken into custody at approximately 8:40 a.m. Aug. 24 at a residence on Spencer Hollow Road, the Springfield Police Department said in a statement.

Officer Callahan and Cpl. Perkins located Runnells at the address and arrested her without incident, police said.

Runnells was transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing.

She was issued a criminal citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 26 to answer to the warrant.

Following her arrest, Runnells was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility.

Bail was set at $10,000 cash or surety.
