SOUTH WINDSOR — Two men were arrested Thursday in separate incidents involving a hit-and-run and multiple larcenies, police said.

Jordan J. Broderick, 23, of Hartford, was arrested at 1:32 p.m. on an active warrant stemming from a March 2024 motor vehicle accident.

Broderick allegedly struck a motorcycle on Route 5 near Scantic Road, causing minor injury to the operator before fleeing the scene.

Broderick was processed at Manchester Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 19 at 9 a.m.

In a separate case, Gianni W. Centeno, 38, of West Haven, was arrested at 10:10 a.m. on five warrants related to larcenies that occurred between April and June 2024 at Lowe’s on Buckland Hills Drive.

Centeno faces charges including fourth-degree larceny, two counts of fifth-degree larceny, and two counts of sixth-degree larceny.

He was processed and appeared in Manchester Superior Court on Aug. 29, as he was already in state custody on charges from other jurisdictions.

The South Windsor Police Department made both arrests.
