Fairlee man cited for disorderly conduct at local market

FAIRLEE — A 29-year-old Fairlee man was cited for disorderly conduct following an incident at Wing’s Market on Thursday evening.

Vermont State Police responded to a report of disruptive behavior at the market, located at 9 Route 5, at 7:23 p.m. on Aug. 29.

Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation.

They determined that Ryan Oleary had been acting in a loud and tumultuous manner, allegedly threatening patrons in the parking lot.

Oleary was issued a citation to appear in Orange Superior Court to face the disorderly conduct charge.

The date of his court appearance was not immediately available.

Authorities did not report any injuries or property damage resulting from the incident.
