West Haven woman, Milford man charged in sexual abuse case

WEST HAVEN — A local woman and a Milford man face multiple charges following a sexual abuse investigation involving underage victims, authorities announced.

The West Haven Police Department’s Special Victim’s Unit, in conjunction with the Department of Children and Families, conducted a detailed investigation into allegations against Elizabeth Jordan, 42, of West Haven, and Josh Bailey, 44, of Milford.

According to police, Jordan was accused of engaging in and recording a sexual encounter with an underage individual and sharing the video with Bailey.

She also allegedly sent images of another minor to Bailey.

Jordan turned herself in to authorities on Aug. 29 on an outstanding warrant and faces multiple charges including sexual assault in the second degree, voyeurism, and risk of injury to a minor.

Bailey was apprehended in Milford on an unrelated incident and subsequently transferred to West Haven on an outstanding warrant.

His charges include criminal liability to commit sexual assault in the second degree and conspiracy to commit voyeurism.

Both Jordan and Bailey were processed at West Haven Police Headquarters and held on bond.

They are scheduled for arraignment in Milford, Connecticut, GA 22 court.
