Rhode Island ACI Investigations Unit charges five individuals on various offenses

CENTRAL FALLS — Members of the ACI Investigations Unit brought charges against five individuals on Aug. 28, with offenses ranging from assault on a correctional officer to drug possession and violating a no contact order.

Amanda L. Baker, 37, from Central Falls, was charged with two counts of assault on a correctional officer.

Following her arraignment in Third District Court, Baker was released to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

In a separate incident, Emmanuel Rodriguez, 32, of Providence, faced charges for possession of a Schedule I – V substance, identified as crack cocaine.

Like Baker, Rodriguez was arraigned at the Third District Court and subsequently released to the Sheriffs Department.

Anthony J. Folcarelli, 28, also from Providence, was charged with assault on a correctional officer.

Following his arraignment, Folcarelli was released into the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

Justin Nolen, 26, of Woonsocket, was charged with the violation of a domestic no contact order—his third or subsequent offense.

After his arraignment, Nolen was released to the Sheriffs Department.

Michael J. Williams, 32, another Providence resident, faced charges for violating a misdemeanor domestic no contact order.

Williams was arraigned and released to the Sheriffs Department.

The ACI Investigations Unit, which operates under the Rhode Island Department of Corrections, is responsible for the investigation and apprehension of individuals involved in criminal activities within the state’s correctional facilities.
