Boston police seek help identifying suspect in Brighton prowler incident

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual connected to a prowler event that occurred in the Brighton neighborhood.

The incident took place around 9:23 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, in the vicinity of 17 Gerald Road.

Authorities describe the suspect as a male dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, thick gray gloves, light gray pants, and black and gray sneakers with white soles.

The individual also wore a white logo on the sides of the sneakers and a black fabric that covered his entire face without openings for eyes or mouth.

The Boston Police Department is thoroughly examining the details and context of the event.
