GREENVILLE — A routine traffic stop turned into a drug arrest on Thursday when Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Pina apprehended Gerard Boynton of Blanchard for possession of a scheduled drug.
During the stop in Greenville, Deputy Pina discovered approximately 50 grams of suspected crack cocaine in Boynton’s possession.
Following the discovery, Boynton was taken into custody and transported to the Greenville Police Department.
After processing, Boynton was able to post bail.
Details on his court date and the terms of his release have not been disclosed.
The Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation into the matter.
