SCITUATE — At 9:31 a.m., Rhode Island State Troopers apprehended Sandra Tetreault, 58, on charges of issuing fraudulent checks exceeding $1,500.
The arrest occurred following a thorough investigation by the Scituate Barracks and a subsequent check at Tetreault’s residence in North Smithfield.
Tetreault was taken to State Police Headquarters where she was processed.
After being arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, Tetreault was released on her own recognizance with a scheduled future court date in the Third District Court.
