MANCHESTER — A fatal motor vehicle collision on Buckland Hills Drive claimed the life of a 19-year-old woman from Vernon on Saturday night.
At 8:31 p.m., Manchester Police responded to reports of a car accident near 233 Buckland Hills Drive.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that Makayla Theriaque had driven her vehicle off the road and struck a tree while traveling westbound.
Theriaque was rushed to a local trauma hospital following the crash.
Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the facility.
The Manchester Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
