GUILFORD — A two-car collision on the 1600 block of Rt. 80 claimed the life of an 82-year-old woman and injured two others Saturday morning.
According to the Guilford Police Department, the accident occurred at 10:30 a.m., prompting authorities and emergency personnel to respond to the scene.
The Guilford Fire Department provided medical attention to the victims.
An ambulance transported two individuals with serious injuries to the hospital, where one of them, an elderly female, later died.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld until the family is notified.
