BURKE — Vermont State Police arrested 21-year-old Nathaniel Lakus on charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault and domestic assault after being dispatched to a reported fight on US Route 5 at approximately 10:14 a.m. on Aug. 23.
Authorities say that Lakus assaulted family members during the incident, causing bodily injury to one and serious bodily injury to another.
Following the investigation, Lakus was detained without bail at the Northeast Regional Correctional Center.
Lakus is scheduled for a court hearing at the Caledonia County Criminal Court on Aug. 26 at 12:30 p.m.
