FRAMINGHAM — Framingham Police Department officers are investigating a single vehicle accident on Potter Rd that caused a telephone pole to fall, blocking the roadway and leading to a power outage in the area.
The accident occurred early Tuesday morning, and as a result, Potter Rd has been closed between Mary Agnes Rd and Lancaster Dr. Residents within this vicinity may experience power interruptions until repairs can be made.
Utility companies Eversource and Verizon have dispatched crews to the scene to work on restoring power and communications services.
The police are advising motorists to seek alternate routes while the affected segment of Potter Rd remains closed.
