FORT FAIRFIELD — Maine State Police have activated a Silver Alert for Edward Bolstridge, a 69-year-old man from Fort Fairfield, who was reported missing earlier today.

According to the Fort Fairfield Police Department, Bolstridge was last seen around noon in Westfield, heading north toward Presque Isle.

He is described as a white male, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 215 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Authorities say Bolstridge is driving a silver 2016 Kia Soul with Maine registration EABI.

He was last seen wearing a baseball hat, a button-down flannel shirt, and jeans.

The Silver Alert program is used to broadcast information about missing persons — especially senior citizens with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other mental disabilities — in order to aid in their safe return.

The police are asking anyone with information on Bolstridge’s whereabouts to contact the Fort Fairfield Police Department at 207-532-5400.

Members of the community are urged to keep an eye out for Bolstridge or his vehicle and to report any sightings or information that may assist in locating him.
