LYNDONVILLE — A homeless man wanted on felony drug charges in New Hampshire was arrested Tuesday afternoon after police responded to a trespassing call.

Lyndonville Police Officer Daniel Renaudette arrived at 19 High Street at about 1 p.m. and found Matthew Cole, 36, at the scene.

An investigation revealed that Cole had an active extraditable warrant for two Class B felony charges of possession of controlled drugs.

Cole was taken into custody and charged in Vermont as a fugitive from justice.

He was lodged at Northeast Correctional Complex without bail pending extradition to New Hampshire.
