SPRINGFIELD — A local man has been arrested for allegedly burglarizing the Clever Cow Design shop, according to the Springfield Police Department.
Officials reported that the incident occurred at the business located at 18 Valley St. on Aug. 13 at 5:54 a.m. The suspect, identified as Stephen Loewe, was caught on security footage forcefully entering through a window and stealing money along with other items.
Corporal Perkins, the investigating officer, stated that Loewe was apprehended during a separate incident on Aug. 14.
Following his arrest, Loewe was issued a criminal citation to appear in the Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, on Oct. 1 at 8 a.m. to face burglary charges.
