Man arrested for peeping into Roxbury home

BOSTON — Boston Police Department’s Youth Violence Strike Force apprehended 26-year-old John Furr in New Bedford on Thursday, Aug. 22, on charges related to a peeping incident in Roxbury.

Furr was wanted on a warrant from Dorchester District Court for Secret Sexual Surveillance and Trespassing.

He is scheduled for arraignment in Dorchester Court.

The arrest stems from an incident that occurred early Wednesday, Aug. 21, when officers received a report of a man looking into an occupied bathroom window on Devon Street in Roxbury around 2:30 a.m.

The Boston Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances of these incidents.
