BANGOR — Authorities released the name of an inmate who died at the Penobscot County Jail, with the Bangor Police Department currently investigating the circumstances of the death.
Randy Webber, 51, of Stonington, was identified as the deceased individual.
Webber was booked into the county jail on Aug. 12 at 2:15 p.m., facing charges of Aggravated Trafficking of Schedule W Drugs, which is classified as a Class A Felony.
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office has not provided additional details regarding the cause of Webber’s death.
The investigation is ongoing, and further information will be released as it becomes available.
