WEBSTER — After weeks of investigations sparked by numerous drug complaints, Webster Police Department detectives arrested a 34-year-old Oxford man for alleged heroin distribution on Pearl Street.
Jeffrey Milani was taken into custody on Aug. 14 at approximately 4:50 p.m., following surveillance operations led by Detective Sergeant Trainor.
Milani, who was driving a gray Audi sedan, was identified over the course of the investigation as the suspect involved in the narcotics sale.
Detective Sergeant Trainor observed Milani engaging in what appeared to be a drug transaction after picking up and dropping off an individual known to authorities.
Officer Melhouse subsequently executed a traffic stop, detaining Milani as he attempted to exit his vehicle.
A search of Milani’s car by police officers yielded multiple baggies suspected to contain heroin, prepared in a way indicative of individual sales.
Further, multiple cell phones and $789 in cash were found.
Milani, who was discovered to have a suspended driver’s license, was arrested with the assistance of Sergeant Larochelle and Officer Donovan.
Charges against Milani include possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug, considering it a subsequent offense, as well as operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, also a subsequent offense.
Released on $1,000 cash bail, Milani was arraigned in Dudley District Court on the following day.
