WOONSOCKET — On Aug. 16, a joint operation involving the Computer Crimes Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force led to the arrest of 29-year-old Ivan Parenteau for possession of child pornography.
Parenteau, who resides in Woonsocket, was taken to the Lincoln Barracks for processing.
Following his arrest, he was arraigned at the Sixth District Court.
The Honorable Justice Isherwood set Parenteau’s bail at $2,500 with surety, imposing conditions that included no contact with minors and limited internet use.
On the same day, the Financial Crimes Unit, in collaboration with the Lincoln Barracks, arrested 45-year-old Tracee L.
Johnson of 131 Richard Street, Cranston, Rhode Island.
Johnson faces charges related to the fraudulent use of food stamps and conspiracy.
After being processed at the Lincoln Barracks, she was arraigned in Sixth Division District Court by Judge Isherwood and released on $3,000 personal recognizance.
Additionally, members from the Special Victims and Major Crimes Units arrested Amanda Abreu, a 32-year-old resident of 3226 Post Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, for child endangerment.
Abreu was transported to Sixth District Court for her arraignment.
