SWAMPSCOTT — Authorities are actively searching for three juvenile girls who reportedly ran away from a Milford shelter, according to the Swampscott Police Department.

The Milford Police indicated that the three sisters had been residing with their mother at the shelter before their disappearance.

A cell phone ping from one of the juveniles led investigators to believe they could be near King’s Beach at the intersection of Humphrey Street and Clark Street Playground on Archer Street.

These areas are known to be on the border between Swampscott and Lynn.

The Swampscott Police are urging the public to be on the lookout for the missing juveniles and to report any sightings immediately by calling the Swampscott Police Department at 781-595-1111 or dialing 911.

The community is asked to contribute to the efforts by remaining vigilant and reporting any relevant information that could lead to locating the girls.
