Pittsfield man injured in UTV rollover crash

PITTSFIELD — A man was injured in a UTV rollover crash on private property in Pittsfield on Aug. 16 at approximately 1:38 p.m., according to New Hampshire Fish and Game Conservation Officers.

Richard Bousquet, 66, of Pittsfield, was operating the UTV at 121 Barnstead Road when he attempted a sharp left-hand turn in a field, causing the vehicle to roll onto its roof.

Bousquet was not wearing a safety harness or helmet at the time of the accident.

Responding to the scene were Pittsfield Police, Pittsfield Fire Department, and Conservation Officers.

Bousquet was transported to Concord Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

New Hampshire Fish and Game has issued a reminder to the public about the importance of operating Off-Highway Recreational Vehicles (OHRVs) in a safe and controlled manner, emphasizing the use of safety harnesses and helmets while riding.
