ENOSBURG — Vermont State Police arrested a 49-year-old St. Albans man on suspicion of DUI, driving while license suspended, criminal threatening, disorderly conduct, and violations of conditions of release after an altercation at Green’s Ace Hardware on Depot Street.
Authorities received a call at 12:05 p.m. on Aug. 18 about a male driver acting aggressively and threatening to assault the caller.
Upon arrival, police encountered Lester Turner in a customer’s vehicle at the hardware store, refusing to obey trooper commands.
Following his arrest, Turner was taken to the St. Albans Barracks for processing.
He was later held at the Northwest State Correctional Facility on $1,000 bail for the aforementioned offenses.
