LITTLETON — The Littleton Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual featured in recently released photographs.
In an effort to gather information, the department has urged the community not to share potential leads in public forums such as comment sections but to instead contact the department privately.
The images were shared by the police with the intent to obtain details that may be pertinent to an ongoing inquiry.
Littleton Police emphasized that the appearance of a person in these photos does not imply that they are involved in criminal activity, nor does it suggest that they are the subject of an investigation.
It is purely an attempt to gather information that might be relevant to their work.
Members of the public who recognize the person in the images or have knowledge about their identity are encouraged to reach out to the Littleton Police Department.
To maintain confidentiality and ensure that the process does not compromise potential leads, the department has requested that such information be communicated through a private message or a direct phone call to 603-444-7711 ext. 2 during regular business hours.
The police have also issued a disclaimer regarding the anonymity of tips leading to criminal prosecution, stating that while they seek to protect the privacy of individuals providing information, they cannot fully guarantee anonymity.
The Littleton Police Department continues to work closely with the community to ensure safety and justice, and values the public’s cooperation in these efforts.
