Groton police seek help identifying suspect in counterfeit bill case

GROTON — Police in Groton are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest connected to a counterfeit currency investigation.

The Groton Police Department released an image of an individual allegedly involved in passing a counterfeit $100 bill on July 22.

The department is reaching out to community members who may have information that can aid in the identification process.

Officer Lucero, badge number 142, is handling the case and urges anyone with knowledge about the suspect or the incident to come forward.

The department is also open to receiving information through direct messages on their official communication channels.
