Ashaway man arrested on multiple warrants after vehicle stop

EXETER — At 11:01 p.m., Rhode Island State Troopers apprehended Jesse E. Boulais, 37, on a series of warrants following a traffic stop on Route 95.

Boulais, a resident of Ashaway, was taken into custody on a Family Court Bench Warrant related to a Non-Criminal Charge Reciprocal Body Attachment as well as an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Obtaining Vehicles with Intent to Defraud, issued by the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest on Thursday night was the result of a routine motor vehicle check.

Following the stop, Boulais was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks for processing.

Upon completion, he was handed over to the West Warwick Police Department to face charges.
