Woman indicted in 2019 juvenile death in Laconia

LACONIA — New Hampshire State Police, alongside Laconia Police Department Chief Matthew Canfield and Belknap County Attorney Keith Cormier, announced the arrest of 61-year-old Sherry Connor on charges related to the 2019 death of a juvenile.

Connor was indicted by a Belknap County grand jury on multiple counts, including manslaughter for recklessly causing the death, which occurred on Dec. 24, 2019.

The indictments also include charges of negligent homicide, six counts of first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and four counts of witness tampering.

She is scheduled to appear in Belknap County Superior Court at a future date to face these charges.
