WOODBURY — A Barre City man was arrested early Thursday morning after Vermont State Police responded to a report of a disorderly individual on Vt Rt 14 North.
At approximately 1:12 a.m., troopers from the Berlin Barracks arrived on the scene to find 26-year-old Jesse Rogers yelling and obstructing traffic.
According to authorities, Rogers was in the middle of the road when a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Ralph Hewett of Woodbury attempted to pass.
Rogers allegedly damaged Hewett’s vehicle during the incident.
Following the investigation, Rogers was taken into custody without further incident.
He has been issued a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Oct. 10 at 8:30 a.m. Rogers is facing charges of disorderly conduct and unlawful mischief.
