WEYBRIDGE — A Weybridge man was cited for neglecting a vulnerable adult in his care, Vermont State Police said Saturday.
Troopers responded to a welfare check at a residence on Snake Mountain Road at 8:54 a.m. on Aug. 16.
The investigation determined that Brian LaFountain, 37, had intentionally neglected a vulnerable adult family member.
LaFountain was issued a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on a later date.
State police were assisted by the Addison County Sheriff’s Department and Middlebury Regional EMS during the response.
The name of the victim has not been released.
