Quincy police seek missing woman

QUINCY — Quincy Police Department has issued an urgent alert for a missing 42-year-old woman with a history of mental health issues who was last seen in the early hours near Central Middle School.

Xuanxuan “Annie” Gong was reported missing after she was last spotted around 12 a.m. on Aug. 16 in the area of 875 Hancock Street.

Known to frequent the Wollaston area, particularly Hancock Street, Gong is described as a 5-foot-5-inch tall Asian female, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Gong was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket, blue denim pants, a blue shirt, a black hat, and possibly white sneakers.

Authorities express growing concern for Gong’s well-being, stating she may require medical assistance.

The Quincy Police Department urges anyone with information on Gong’s whereabouts to call 911 immediately.

Police have also circulated a recent photograph of Gong to aid in her identification and ensure a swift response from the community.
